12/20/03 ESPRIT 2003 CAD/CAM Programming Software!

EDM Technologies has updated its programming software to ESPRIT 2003. ESPRIT 2003, designed with the high precision needs of the EDM world in mind, allows us to import geometry from virtually any CAD system including Solids, NURB Surfaces and 2D/3D geometry. The Charmilles Robofil 4030 SI is the most state of the art "high end" Wire EDM machine on the market. It is equipped with a surface intergrity generator for superior finish and incredible speeds. We now have the ability to achieve a 4 micro-inch finish in tool steel & a 6 micro-inch finish in aluminum. The 4030 SI is equipped to handle wire diameters down to .001", with automatic threading of .002" diameter wire.
